Fernando Lázaro is widely recognized by critics and the academic community as one of the most respected and promising Spanish musicians of his generation, known for his technical expertise, distinctive and profound piano performances, and versatility.

As a distinguished pianist, composer, and musicologist, Lázaro graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Madrid and is a member of the Madrid Association of Composers (AMCC). He has received numerous awards, including the Young Artists Award of Castilla-La Mancha (2004), the Distinguished Albacete Award (2016), and the Best Soundtrack Award from the Spanish Radio and Television Institute (RTVE, 2017).

Fernando Lázaro is an esteemed guest lecturer at the SGAE Foundation and several Spanish universities. He currently teaches in the Performance, Creation, and Musical Research program at Rey Juan Carlos I University in Madrid. In addition, he is pursuing advanced studies in orchestral conducting.

As a pianist, Lázaro has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls across Europe. His notable performances include an invitation to perform at the highly prestigious "El Ojo Crítico" Awards Gala hosted by Spanish National Radio (RNE) in 2017.

Lázaro's repertoire as a composer encompasses a wide range of genres, including works for piano, chamber music, concert songs, ballet scores, symphonic works, and film soundtracks. His compositions have been performed at important music events such as the Chamber Music Series of the National Orchestra of Spain, the Cervantino Festival in Mexico, the International Contemporary Music Festival of Madrid, and the European Music Open Festival in Oradea (Romania), among others.

Specializing in ballet composition, Fernando Lázaro has collaborated with well-known choreographers such as Renato Zanella (former director of the Vienna State Opera Ballet) and celebrated Spanish choreographer Ángel Rodríguez on projects like the ballets Brishen and Black to Say Silence. His ballet music has been featured at major venues, including the State Theater of Innsbruck in Austria and the National Theaters of Győr and Budapest in Hungary.
